Kargil Vijay Diwas Completes 25 Years, Entire Country Pays Tribute To Martyred Soldiers: Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 July in the country. This day is celebrated to remember those martyrs who achieved martyrdom while defeating Pakistan in the Kargil war of 1999. The country salutes his martyrdom on this day. Apart from this, this day also celebrates the country's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War of 1999 and symbolizes the success of Operation Vijay.
