Kanwar Yatra 2021: SC issues notice to Yogi Adityanath govt over allowing pilgrimage

Kanwar Yatra 2021 has been cancelled by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami after holding a high-level meeting. He said that due to Coronavirus pandemic, the step was necessary. On the other hand, Yatra has been allowed in Uttar Pradesh. Now, Supreme Court has taken the matter into cognizance and issued a notice to the Yogi Adityanath government.
