J&K: Gunfight on between Indian security forces & militants in Shopian

A gunfight started on Saturday between the security forces and several militants holed up in a village in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, police sources said. According to the Jammu and Kashmir police, Encounter has started at Likhdi Pora area of Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.

A team of police, Rashtriya Rifles and Central Reserve Police Force had launched a cordon-and-search operation in Lakadpora Pudsoo village after information about the presence of militants there.
