Jahangirpuri News: Jama Masjid asks children to not to attend Friday Namaz at mosque premises
The Jama Masjid has made a special appeal to the people attending Friday Namaz. The mosque has asked not to bring children to the mosque premises today. This is a precautionary move by the mosque. Jahangirpuri suffered due to a clash between two groups on Hanuman Jayanti. The incident was an amalgamation of sloganeering, stone pelting and more. Post the incident, North MCD razed illegal structures in the area as a part of the bigger anti-encroachment drive which was running in Delhi. Later, the Supreme Court halted the drive and now the case would be heard after two weeks.
