Intense Heatwave: Red Alert in North, Central India as Temperature Breaks Centuries-Old Record, Reaching 52°C in Delhi's Mungeshpur | ABP News
As the national capital witnessed blistering heat on Tuesday with several parts of Delhi sizzling as temperatures soared to around 50 degrees Celsius, there might be a short-term relief ahead for the people in Delhi-NCR on June 1 or June 2.
The Vice President of Meteorology And Climate Change at Skymet Weather, told news agency PTI about the possibility of a dust storm or thunderstorm on either Saturday or Sunday.
“There is a possibility of a dust storm or thunderstorm on June 1 or June 2, bringing some relief. However, this will be a short-term relief,” he said.
According to IMD, most parts of Rajasthan and some parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh will witness heat wave to severe heatwave conditions on May 29 and 30.
