IMD estimates downpour in some parts of India b/w 3 to 6 January

Cold waves continue in many states of North India. It will rain in some parts of India on 3, 4 and 5 January as per the Indian Meteorological department. The IMD has predicted a cold wave in northern India and rainfall in a few areas as well. 

Apart from this, consistent snowfall in the hilly areas of India has led to a huge dip in the temperature.
