IIT Delhi claims to have made cheapest Covid-19 test kit

Students of IIT Delhi have made a claim that they have manufactured the cheapest kit for Coronavirus Covid-19 test. It is an RT-PCR test kit. While the conventional test kit is worth Rs 2400, the one designed by IIT Delhi is worth just Rs 399. It is approved by ICMR and being touted as the cheapest RT-PCR test kit. The name of the kit if Corosure and it gives result in just 85 minutes, unlike the conventional test which takes a day.
