How long will we let harvest rot in govt owned godowns?
Harvest of paddy or wheat crop rotting in a government owned godown is not new. Every season, with the first shower of rain, we here reports or see visuals of crops being rotten due to improper arrangement in the godown. This happens even when a significant portion of the country still finds it hard to manage two square meals a day. Why is it that despite huge outcry, no steps are taken to reform this arrangement?
