How can Punjab leaders canvas when farmers are protesting, ask Karnal farmers

Farmers have been protesting in Karnal for four days now. They demand action against SDM who ordered the lathi charge in August. Now, they also want Punjab leaders not to canvas for the elections as farmers had been protesting for over nine months now.
