Home Ministry Raises Doubt On UGC-NET Exam Leak, Exam Stands Cancelled | ABP News

Exam Cancellation: Due to grave concerns about the integrity of the test process, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has stated that the UGC-NET June 2024 test would not be held. The University Grants Commission (UGC) received concerning information from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which led to the decision, which is supported by the Ministry of Education. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administered the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in OMR (pen and paper) mode on June 18, 2024, in two shifts across the nation's cities, according to an official announcement released by the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Home Affairs' I4C provided some advice to the UGC on June 19, 2024. These inputs seem to suggest that there may have been a compromise to the integrity of the previously mentioned examination."
