Himachal to invoke Sec 307 for not revealing Markaz connection, warns DGP

DGP of Himachal Pradesh announced on Sunday that Indian Penal Code's (IPC) Section 307 (Attempt to murder) will be invoked if people themselves do not reveal their Tablighi Jamaat's connection until 5 pm to police authorities. The decision has been taken to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus in the state. Until, Tablighi Jamaat's connection, Himachal Pradesh was under safe zone as only two cases were reported.
