The relentless monsoon has not spared even the plains and mountains, engulfing them in its devastating grip. Jharkhand is one of the states severely affected by this deluge. In Ranchi, the situation has escalated to near-crisis levels due to the relentless heavy rainfall, leading to flood-like conditions. Water has entered people's homes, turning the streets into rivers. The severity of the situation has necessitated the deployment of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams for rescue operations. More than 100 people have found themselves trapped in the floodwaters and are currently being rescued. The extent of the flooding and the damage it has caused is immense, with numerous families displaced and infrastructure severely impacted.
