Hathras Stampede: UP CM Yogi To Receive 855-Page SIT Report Today | ABP News

CM Yogi Adityanath got the complete information on the Hathras case from DGP Prashant Kumar. According to sources, the report mentions the names of some political leaders in whose elections 'Bhole Baba' played an important role. Apart from this, other links of 'Bhole Baba' have also been mentioned.  The tragic incident in Hathras on July 2 revealed significant lapses in the district administration's handling of a large public event, resulting in profound loss and suffering. The event, a satsang organized by Surajpal Singh alias Baba Bholenath, was approved despite organizers informing the administration of an anticipated attendance of 80 thousand people. However, the administration failed to adequately plan for such a massive gathering, neglecting crucial aspects like crowd control and traffic management. As a consequence, more than three times the expected number of people attended, overwhelming the insufficiently prepared infrastructure. This lack of foresight and coordination proved fatal, resulting in the deaths of 121 individuals and leaving countless families devastated.
