Hathras Stampede: Supreme Court Hearing On Hathras Case Today, Know What Are The Petitions | ABP News

A full week has passed since the Hathras accident. In this case, the UP government suspended 6 officers including SDM, CO on July 9, but not a single FIR was registered against the person for whom lakhs of people had gathered to listen to his sermon. In this entire case, on one hand the victim's family is demanding punishment for Baba Bholenath alias Surajpal Singh Jatav, while on the other hand, even after the stampede that took place on July 2, Narayan Hari's location is not being traced. Meanwhile, there were many reports regarding the whereabouts of Surajpal, someone claimed that Baba was hiding in the ashram of Mainpuri and someone said that he was underground in another ashram. The Hathras stampede case is being heard in the Supreme Court today. A demand has been made for an investigation under the supervision of a retired Supreme Court judge. There is a demand for guidelines for legal action. There is a demand for guidelines for religious ceremonies also. SIT has submitted its report to the UP government. CM Yogi has suspended 6 officers in this matter.
