Baba Surajpal, also known as 'Bhole Baba', has said that he was grieving the lives lost in the Hathras stampede incident. Bhole Baba said that people should have faith in the administration. No miscreant will be spared. Bhole Baba said that he was praying to God to give people the strength to overcome this hour of grief. He further said: "Through my lawyer AP Singh, I have requested the members of the committee to stand with the bereaved families and the injured and help them throughout their lives." As many as 123 people were killed in the Hathras stampede.
