Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: Congress May Offer Ticket to Bajrang Punia for This Seat | ABP News

As Haryana gears up for the assembly elections, the Congress party is facing internal discord. The potential entry of wrestler Bajrang Punia into the party has stirred political waters. Punia has expressed his desire to contest from the Badli seat. However, this has led to discontent within the party, particularly from the sitting MLA for Badli, Kuldeep Vats. Vats, a close ally of Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda, has reportedly met with party general secretary K.C. Venugopal to contest the decision. Despite Venugopal's attempts to persuade him, Vats remains adamant. This internal struggle could create a dilemma for Congress, as displacing an incumbent MLA might have repercussions for the party's election prospects.
