The Election Commission on Friday announced the dates for Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. The EC said that elections will be held in three phases. In Haryana, assembly polls are set to be held in a single phase. Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, the polls will be held on 18 September, 25 September, and 1 October. In Haryana, polling will take place on October 1.
