Govt silent on steep pricing of Covid-19 treatment in private hospitals | Ghanti Bajao

In a previous report, we showed you in Ghanti Bajao how an individual was handed a bill of Rs 10 lakh for being treated for Coronavirus (Covid-19) in a private hospital. These hospitals made the patients sign a bond that they would pay the bill or serve a jail term.

However, during a hearing in the Supreme Court, Centre refused to rein in the cost of treatment for Coronavirus in a private hospital. Watch this report.
