Frozen pipes plunge Kashmir's Tangmarg into water crisis

It has been snowing heavily in several hilly areas of India including Jammu and Kashmir. Tangmarg has been covered with a white sheet of snow as well. The roads are slippery due to snowfall and the water in the pipes is frozen. This has led to a severe water crisis in the area. Snowfall, however, is is considered to be a boon for the apple business in the valley.
