Fear of vaccine running deep in rural India

In the rural belt of UP, Chhattisgarh and Bihar, villagers fear of getting vaccines is running deep as they believe that the government is fooling them. The health workers on the inoculation drive have heard strange rumors like it will kill the person or it will affect their mental state. However, instead of information on the benefits of the vaccines, fake news has flooded on social media which is making people turn against the government's vaccination drive.
