Dumka Case : Opposition accuses Soren Govt of carelessness , demands immediate resignation | Abp news

In the Dumka region of Jharkhand, a girl who was reportedly set on fire by someone after she rejected his proposal died on Sunday from her burn wounds. The accused, according to the police, was taken into custody on August 23, news agency ANI reported. The girl was taken to cremation ground for her last rites earlier today.  Accused Shahrukh had doused her in gasoline and set her ablaze. She was set on fire as a result of unrequited love. Ankita Kumari, a class 12 girl, was initially taken to Phulo Jhano Medical College and Hospital in Dumka in severe condition. She was thereafter referred to Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for further treatment.
