Delhi's violence: Death toll rises to 9; Police hold flag-march in Khajuri
The death toll has rose to nine on Tuesday in the violence over the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) that has kept the national capital burning over the last three days, especially northeast Delhi. According to GTB Hospital authorities, four people were declared brought dead at the hospital on Tuesday and five lost their lives.
A top official from Delhi Police Headquarters formed that since section 144 imposed in northeast Delhi failed to control the situation, Police have decided to put three districts on high alert.
