Delhi protest: IB officer passes away, family demands justice
Chand Bagh is among the several regions of the national capital that have been rocked by violence after clashes between groups supporting and opposed to the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the last few days.
An Intelligence Bureau staffer was found dead on Wednesday in the riot-hit Chand Bagh area of northeast Delhi. The deceased was identified as Ankit Sharma and his body was recovered from a drain. The family members mourn the killing of Sharma. His family members demanded justice for their beloved son.
Ankit was allegedly attacked by a mob at the Chand Bagh Bridge and beaten to death; his body was later thrown into a drain.
