Delhi News: Electricity to become optional from October 1, says CM Arvind Kejriwal | ABP News
Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister, announced on Thursday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government will grant electricity subsidies to only those inhabitants of the national capital who requested it. He stated that citizens would be asked if they wanted the subsidy to continue and that the process would begin soon. Consumers in Delhi currently receive a "zero" electricity bill up to 200 units per month and an 800 subsidy if they spend 201 to 400 units per month.
