New surveillance footage shows the accused outside the home of Ashutosh, the car's owner, hours after the hit-and-run case in which a 20-year-old woman died after being dragged beneath a car for many kilometres in the national capital's Kanjhawala, news agency ANI reported.

Ashutosh, the sixth suspect apprehended in connection with the January 1 incident, was nabbed on Friday, and a search for a seventh individual has been initiated.

Ashutosh is seen chatting to the accused two hours after the crime in new CCTV footage.

According to Delhi Police, CCTV footage shows that one of the accused arrived at 4:07 a.m. to see Ashutosh, and then Ashutosh is seen entering and going into his residence multiple times.

The police suspect the accused is none other than Ankush, who is the seventh culprit in the case and whose name has just surfaced in the case and throughout the occurrence.
