Delhi govt eases restrictions as COVID cases dip in national capital
The Delhi government has proposed reducing restrictions, commencing with the relaxation of the weekend curfew, as the number of COVID-19 instances recorded in the national capital has decreased. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approved a recommendation for the same, which has been sent to Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal for his approval. The proposal also calls for the removal of the odd-even system, which applies to shops in markets and malls, as well as allowing private workplaces to operate at 50% capacity.
