Cyclone Nisarga wreaks havoc in Maharashtra | Super 40
Strong winds and torrential rains have been lashing on coastal Maharashtra as cyclone Nisarga made landfall near Alibaugh. The windspeed across the coast increased to as high as 80 kmph and in some places, even 110 kmph. Many roadside shops and vehicles have been damaged in Raigad. However, the exact extent of the damage will be gauged only after the cyclone has subsided. Due to heavy rain, visibility is certain areas has been reduced as well.
