Covid-19 outbreak: Punjab govt puts 30,000 NRIs in isolation
Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said that the state government has sent 30,000 out of 94,000 NRIs into isolation amid the outbreak of novel Coronavirus Covid-19.
Punjab has been in a state of Lockdown which was later turned into a curfew from 22 March. It's first case was witnessed in Nawanshahr town. With six more people testing positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, the total number of cases in Punjab have gone up to 29, including a death.
