Covid-19: Death toll in India crosses 5000, over 1.80 lakh confirmed cases

The number of Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases continues to rise in India with the total number of cases being reported at 1,82,431 according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 8,380 new cases were added in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 193 people lost their lives bringing India's death toll to 5,164.

Meanwhile, the active cases stand at 89,995 and 86,984 people have recovered.
