On the demise of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and BJP leader Sushil Modi, LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said, "We had not even imagined that such a big incident would happen suddenly... Today he is not among us. It is also difficult to do... My father and Sushil ji worked together as colleagues. Hence I also have a family relationship with him... He will always be a source of inspiration for the coming young generation... His absence is a big loss for me personally..." This happen amidst Prime Minister Narendra Modi filing his nomination from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, in a bid to secure a third consecutive term from this Uttar Pradesh seat, which the PM wrested in 2014. According to a BJP statement, the prime minister will file his nomination papers after offering prayers at the Kaal Bhairav temple.
