Charanjit Singh Channi's convoy leaves for Raj Bhawan for his swearing-in ceremony

Charanjit Singh Channi is all set to be Punjab's new CM after Capt Amarinder Singh's resignation. Now, Channi's convoy has left from his Chandigarh residence to Raj Bhawan. For the uninitiated, Channi was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha from Chamkaur Sahib Consistency for the first time in 2007. He was elected to the assembly seat again in 2012 and then in 2017.
