On Wednesday, when hundreds of people flocked to Labha Bridge in West Bengal's Maldah district to witness the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra enter the state from Bihar, the rear window of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's car broke. Congress leaders protested, calling it a security breach, while Rahul was on a bus at the time of the occurrence.
Gandhi stayed on the bus' roof where the flag-transfer ceremony was held until the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra returned to West Bengal from Katihar, Bihar. There was a massive crowd that gathered behind Rahul Gandhi's car during the flag-transfer ceremony. Rahul Gandhi's black Toyota's rear window broke under pressure, according to a nearby policeman.
