Breaking News: Massive Incident In Delhi As Packed DTC Bus Engulfed In Flames | ABP News
On Thursday morning, a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus caught fire in Jagatpuri, Delhi. The fire was reported by a motorcyclist, prompting the bus driver to stop and evacuate the passengers. The passengers, visibly terrified, managed to exit safely, and fortunately, no casualties were reported. The incident led to significant traffic congestion, with jams extending several kilometers in the Jagatpuri, Preet Vihar, and Patparganj areas. At the time of the fire, the bus carried approximately 50 passengers. Fire services dispatched three trucks to the scene following the report of the blaze at 9:42 AM. The incident, though alarming, did not escalate into a major disaster thanks to the timely evacuation.
