Breaking News: Major Success for Army in Jammu-Kashmir, 2 Infiltrators Neutralized | ABP News

Since the night of Wednesday (August 28), encounters between terrorists and security forces have occurred in three districts of Jammu-Kashmir: Rajouri, Kupwara, and Poonch. In Rajouri, operations began late Wednesday night in the Kheri Mohera, Lathi, and Danthal areas. The security forces have cordoned off the area, and the Jammu-Kashmir Police have confirmed the encounters with terrorists. In Kupwara, security forces thwarted infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday evening. There was also an encounter with terrorists, resulting in their elimination. In Kupwara, two infiltration attempts were made along the LoC, both of which were foiled by the forces. A search operation is ongoing at both locations, though heavy rain is complicating the efforts. The operation will be intensified as soon as the weather improves. In Kupwara, three terrorists have been killed. On Thursday, two terrorists were neutralized in the Kumkadi area, and one in the Tangdhar sector of northern Kashmir. The army has confirmed that bodies of the three terrorists were found during the ongoing anti-infiltration operations.
