BJP Councillor Ravinder Singh Negi staged a symbolic protest against the Delhi Government by rowing an inflatable boat amid severe waterlogging. He stated, "All PWD drains are overflowing. They didn't clean them ahead of the monsoon, leading to waterlogging. Vinod Nagar is submerged." On Friday, Delhi BJP councilor Ravinder Singh Negi protested against the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government by navigating an inflatable boat through the flooded NH9 area. The BJP leader accused the AAP government of negligence regarding the waterlogged conditions in the national capital. The national capital experienced severe waterlogging across various parts of the city due to incessant rainfall in the early hours of Friday.
