The incident occurred on Monday night (July 15), and his body was discovered on Tuesday morning, leading to a gathering of shocked locals. Jeetan Sahani's residence is located in Supaul Bazaar, Afzalla Panchayat, Darbhanga. The scene of the crime was gruesome, with his mutilated body found on the bed and household items scattered around, suggesting a violent struggle. It is suspected that the assailants broke into the house late at night and attacked Jeetan Sahani while he was asleep.
