Bangladesh: 'I had been waiting to come to Orakandi for many years' says PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Bangladesh on a two-day tour. On the second day of his visit, he offered prayers at the Matua temple in Orakandi. It was in Orakandi that spiritual leader Harichand Thakur of the Matua community was born. While addressing the people of the Matua community, PM Modi said that the Government of India will upgrade the girls' middle school in Orakandi and also build a primary school. This is a tribute to Harichand Thakur on behalf of crores of people of India.
