Bangladesh is set to swear in a new government tonight amid ongoing turmoil. Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus will take the oath as interim PM, while Sheikh Hasina will remain in India for a few more days. Yunus, returning to Dhaka after undergoing treatment in Paris, appealed for calm amid the violence on August 7. Before boarding the flight, he said, "I appeal to everyone to stay calm. Please refrain from any violence. I am eager to go back home to see what is happening there and what kind of trouble we are in. We need to organize ourselves to get out of it." Yunus was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
