AAP MP Sanjay Singh Responds to Hindenburg's Allegations, Accuses Modi Government of Corruption
On August 10, Hindenburg Research, the American short-seller firm, released a new report accusing SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch of being involved in the alleged Adani financial scandal through opaque offshore funds. The report suggests that both Buch and her husband had stakes in these funds used in the alleged scam. In response to these allegations, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has criticized the government. He claimed that the government was aware of Hindenburg's findings in advance, which is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi ended the parliamentary session three days prior. Singh accused the Modi government of being deeply entangled in corruption and alleged that Modi had commissioned an investigation from the same SEBI chairperson implicated in the scandal. He called for the Supreme Court to reconsider its decision on this matter. Singh also announced an important press conference at the party office at 10:30 AM to address these issues further.
