17 injured in explosion at NLC India’s thermal plant in Tamil Nadu

17 employees have been injured in an explosion in the boiler at Neyveli Lignite Corporation power plant in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district on Wednesday. The explosion was reported in a boiler in Stage 2 of the Neyveli Lignite’s plant. It is also being told that many may be trapped inside the plant and an effort is being made to pull them out to safer zones.

The injured have been taken to NLC Lignite hospital.
