Given the conditions in Pakistan, no Prime Minister there can succeed: Sabharwal

Sharat Sabharwal, veteran diplomat, who was India's High Commissioner to Pakistan from 2009-13 and also as Deputy High Commissioner from 1995-1999 believes that the current situation in Pakistan is unprecedented with people up in arms against the Army for arresting former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. However, Sabharwal who has come out with this book - India's Pakistan Conundrum; Managing a Complex Relationship - thinks that the civil-military imbalance in that country is not going to go away anytime soon. Sabharwal, who saw the creation of Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while being posted there, spoke to ABP Live's Nayanima Basu discussing the nuances of the situation in Pakistan
