Delhi IAS Coaching: NDRF deployed in basement for rescue operation, watch ground report | ABP News

The owner and coordinator of the coaching centre in Delhi where three students died of drowning after floodwater inundated the basement have been detained, said the Delhi police on Sunday. 

A case against the owner and coordinator of Rau's IAS Study Circle in the Old Rajinder Nagar was detained and booked under Sections 105, 106(1), 115/2, 290 and 35 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), reported India Today.

The victims were identified as Tania Soni (25), Shreya Yadav (25), and Nevin Dalwin (28).

Earlier in the day, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi ordered the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to take strict action against coaching centres operating in basements which violate building byelaws and not as per the norms.
