Coronavirus cases in India likely to cross 3 lakh-mark today

In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 67,468 people have been infected with Covid-19 and 568 patients have died. This is the highest death toll in a single day. So far, 40,27,827 cases have been confirmed and 61,911 patients have died in the state. New restrictions have been announced in Maharashtra to break the chain of the infection which come into effect from 22 April, 8pm to 1 May, 7 am.
