Rebellion against the quota system in Bangladesh continue unabated. In response to the worsening situation, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the Prime Minister's post and left the country on Monday. In light of the violence, India has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Bangladesh until further notice and warned Indians residing there to stay vigilant and limit their movements. After a coup, the Bangladeshi army, led by General Waker-Uz-Zaman, has assumed control and announced that an interim government will be established within 48 hours, aiming to restore peace.
