Monsoon fury: Yamunotri highway closed from 3 days, risk of landslide continues
The Meteorological (MeT) department on Monday issued a heavy rain alert in the Uttarakhand this week.
Following the MeT department's prediction, the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management issued an advisory to all the district magistrates to remain on high alert.
The state is likely to receive heavy showers on July 25, July 26 and July 27.
The State Disaster Management has also asked the district magistrates to ensure a high level of precaution, safety and traffic are maintained.
