Monsoon Alert: Bhiwandi's situation worse than Nagpur

Maharashtra has witnessed heavy rainfall in the recent past, which has disrupted routine life in the state.

Mumbai has witnessed severe water-logging over the past few weeks due to heavy downpour.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had earlier issued a warning stating that the region will be facing heavy rainfall for a few days.

The downpour has also hampered railway and flight schedules in Mumbai.
