Mohan Bhagwat's statement doesn't compare RSS with Indian Army, clarifies organisation
RSS on Monday gave a clarification on its Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement; which created a lot of ruckus and attracted backlash from various parties.
Elucidating on Bhagwat’s comment, organization said “Mohan Bhagwat wasn’t comparing Indian Army with RSS. In fact, he said that Army takes 6 months to ready its jawans, but if RSS trains, a soldier will become Swamsewak in 3 days”.
Even Congress hit out at RSS over the same. Party leader Sandeep Dikshit said “Insulting Army is equivalent to insulting the people of country. By making a statement, RSS tried to imply that it is above Army as well”.
The matter got escalated after Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh took to his social media account and hits out at Bhagwat saying, “If we would have made such a statement, BJP would have sent us to Pakistan by now; and media would have sought a punishment to hang us. But, the matter here is about Bhagwat”. He further added saying, “Our image gets stained by doing nothing and they murder and no one talks about it”.
