Master Stroke: Death toll rises to 16 in Varanasi bridge collapse incident

CM Yogi has expressed grief over the accident. Deputy CM KP Maurya & Minister Neelkanth Tiwari have been directed by CM to visit the site of accident. CM has directed administration to speed up rescue operation, said UP Minister Sidharth Nath Singh.

Many cars, bikes and other vehicles have been crushed badly under the weight of the block. The bridge had been under construction since a long time and it suddenly collapsed in the evening today.

Cantonment railway station is the prime railway station of Varanasi and is the busiest area of the city.
