Karnataka Results: Congress offers CM post to Kumaraswamy to form an alliance with JDS, says source

According to sources, the Congress & JDS may still try and come together and mathematically beat the BJP ( single largest & will get first go) to form govt by offering Chief Minister post to Kumaraswamy.
The BJP was ahead of the ruling Congress today as officials counted the millions of votes polled in the Karnataka Assembly election. HD Deve Gowda's JDS is appearing to become the kingmaker. In a major blow to Congress, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah trailed on both Badami and Chamundeshwari seats. As per the latest trends, the chances of Congress forming a party even with JD(S)' support; on the other hand, BJP is likely to form the government single-handedly, as it is very close to majority.
