Haryana was set for a hung Assembly on Thursday with no party appearing in a position to cross the halfway mark in the 90-member House, but in Maharashtra, the BJP-Shiv Sena was well placed to retain power. The ruling BJP in Haryana led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday won 40 seats but failed to cross the halfway mark in the 90-member Assembly.
